'Midday Adventures' follow-up unveils back stage

Online footage has emerged showing behind-the-scenes of a follow-up to Fajr acclaimed ‘Midday Adventures’.

Directed by Mohammad-Hoosein Mahdavian, 'Trace of Blood' is the name of the sequel to award-winning movie 'Midday Adventures'.

Produced by Seyyed Mahmoud Razavi, the shooting for the film kicked off in September.

The film has bagged several awards at the 35th Fajr Film Festival in 2017; the accolades include Best Film, Audience Choice Film, Best Scenic Design, Best Costume Design and Best Film with National View.

‘Midday Adventures’, a political drama that portrays the terrorist atrocities of the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) in Iran during the 1980s.

 Penned by Hossein Torab-Nezhad and Ebrahim Amini, the installment is reportedly themed on a political event.

Mohammad-Javad Ezzati  - a well-known actor to ifilmers for series such as ‘Huge Problems 1, 2’ – starred in original ‘Midday Adventures’.
